Circulo de Bellas Artes

This spot is particularly “guay” because for just 2€ (1€ with student card) you can take the lift up to the 7th floor roof terrace of the art gallery and look down onto bustling Gran Vía and enjoy a view of practically all of Madrid.
This is ideal for a moment of peace if you need some space from your new flatmates or Spanish course, or even to just appreciate a different view of this impressive city.
Generally the azotea is open every day from 11am-2pm and 4pm-9pm but these hours are subject to change, depending on the time of year, so I advise going at 12:30pm or 5:30pm to avoid missing out.
It’s worth noting that for your 2€ you can also see the exhibitions on the other floors and the cafeteria – which, I can recommend, does a simply delightful chocolate caliente.
