Fancy going out for dinner this weekend? Allow me to recommend a new find. La Musa in La Latina is a quirky hide-out which offers great food in great atmosphere.
With an extensive selection of hot and cold tapas, sharing plates and noodles, there is something to please everyone’s taste buds. The noodles are well worth the money, perfect for sharing and come in a cool, American-style takeaway box. The person who initially recommended I visit this gem of a restaurant also said it would be a crime to leave without tasting their speciality: la bomba- a potato filled with cheese, ham and tomatoey goodness. I would also strongly recommend the “degustación de postres”, which gives you three mini (but absolutely delicious) desserts, which are again great for sharing between 3-4 people.
Here’s the address should you wish to heed my advice (which you’d obviously be very wise to do): Costanilla de San Andrés, 12 – just a ten minute walk from Inhispania’s school on Montera.
And here’s a link to the website, so you can check out the menu for yourself: http://www.grupolamusa.com/restaurante-lamusalatina
Bon appetite!
