Madrid is already heating up and we’re not even truly into summer yet. From the 15th June onwards there will be one more solution to this problem: Aquópolis, Madrid’s very own water park.
Although it’s quite a way out of Madrid, it’s easy to get to using public transport. Línea 627 Madrdid-Brunete is probably the easiest route and leaves from Moncloa bus station. Buses run from 07:00 onwards.
The park itself isn’t huuuge, but has a good variety of attractions to suit every level of dare-devil, from the “Gentle River” rubber rings to the the “Kamakazi” water shoot. There’s also of course mini play areas for children and plenty of cafes and restaurants where you can grab a cold drink or something to eat. The entrance prices are also very reasonable. A standard adult ticket will only set you back €21,55, which I would say isn’t too bad for a whole day of fun in the sun.
As always, here is a link to the website so you can check it out for yourselves! http://www.villanueva.aquopolis.es/parque-acuatico-madrid
Or who knows, maybe we’ll make it an Inhispania activity- keep your eyes peeled!
